I always find it sad when people treat AB/DLs like freaks or as if they're taking part in activities that are somehow inherently "bad" or wrong.
I find it equally sad when AB/DLs paint folks with other fetishes with that same negative brush.
The Daddy/LG relationship IS technically in the BDSM realm. BDSM is composed of THREE different relationship dynamics. Bondage/Discipline, Dominance/Submission, and Sadism/Masochism. Daddy/LG relationships are clearly in the Dominance/Submission category. Not all D/s relationships contain elements of B/D or S/M.
Furthermore, you're wrong about the authors of BDSM stories being mostly male - and wrong to assume the author of this story was a male. As a woman, I found the story pretty arousing. And as the other poster said, considering the "Daddy" was hardly in the story - I doubt it was written by a man. Just as many women write BDSM stories as men do. Possibly more, as women tend to (statistically speaking) prefer the written word over visual stimuli when it comes to matters of sex.
I also find your general attitude towards sadists to be pretty disturbing. You act as if sadists run around tormenting innocent individuals. Anyone who behaves in such a way is not considered a true S/M player. They're considered a sick, twisted individual. Sexual sadists derive sexual pleasure from abusing others *who want to be abused*. It's safe, it's sane and it's consensual on BOTH parts. You make sadists sound like serial killers out on the prowl to abuse any woman they cross paths with. This belief is JUST as wrong as people who assume AB/DL play involves actual children.
Also, you "dominate as a man should"...? How appalling. There is no "way" a man should dominate. There are so many different ways to dominate and to submit. Not to mention that many women are sadists and/or dominant partners, as well.
You seem to have a very, very narrow view of what's "okay" in the world of sexual deviancy - and that view seems to be that YOUR way is okay, but all others are wrong. I truly feel sorry for you.
