Here here. The current common fixation of straight men with lesbian women, and the common tendency towards prefering lesbian erotica to hetersexual images (written or visual) betrays a discomfort with our own bodies and a screwed up notion of beauty as a gendered thing. It is homophobia in the typical sense, and in a another way: hatred of the self.
