I know how that feels.I don't post my email address here because once you post it it stays on the site...there was a minichat room (my computer can use minichat but not Java-chat) that I used to post links to where I could trade email addresses that would then scroll off.
I am not on a window-environment computer so I can't use the instant-message programs...I do have access to a talker or two for realtime communication but for regular private communication,if you could set up a for-this-type-of-chat email address on one of the free email servers and post that,I can write there and maybe advise on other means out of public view.
