Well, in truth, you've already started on your path so to speak.
There are benifits to solo play, but any girl can tell you, solo play is nice, but duets are divine.
Solo play is defined as any "headspace" where you play alone. (hints the solo :p) The benifits of solo play are you can play at your own speed. The downside is that it can get really lonely really quickly.
Some things you can do solo include finding your limit with everything. This includes your "bedwetting" concept, or going for the younger little one who has a necessity for crinkly padded garments. Though L.E. is right, if you sleep with your boyfriend (in the same bed) then trying it out kinda sucks.
Testing how you feel about all variations and forming your own opinions help define your "perfect play" because once you're 100% about what you like, you can better convey those feelings leading into "Duets"
Playing with a daddy figure is the ultimate goal. There has to be some emotional comfort with the person who's gonna rub your back or powder your tushie. Once you understand what you like, talk to him about it. Don't enter the room all decked out and expect him to immedeatly accept your more childish natures.
The fact that he already gives a joking connotation to "Big Trouble" as long as it was lighthearted is a good start.
This is where how good of a relationship you have with him comes into play. Communication is key here and the better you can express your feelings without being embarassed the better. Its just a matter of knowing when and where to talk to him about it. If he loves you, he'll try. And honestly without him already being a daddy type, that's all you can ask.
Just know that there is nothing wrong with wants and desires, as long as it doesn't control your life (continue psudo-spiritual dribble as needed)
Basically, figure out 100% what you want out of this side of yourself/personality/play ect. Then I think (now mind you, this is just my opinion, seeing as how L.E. was so far the only one to give his) That you'll be ready to express what.
Cuz honestly, that's all that matters.
