The way you are feeling is most likely due to being on your own for too long and getting used to it, while your real needs continue to be unfulfilled. I think this happens more often these days as we do not have the connection to a real community as previous generations did. Modern life, with more technology than ever before tends to be devisive. Not long ago, the Abdl community didn't exist at all, but finally came together with newsletters, and now via internet. It's important to feel that you are part of something larger, and I've come to believe that abdl is not silly or frivolous as some may think. Go for it, and let that inner child be your guide.
BTW: Any daddy without a baby girl to care for is little more than 'little boy lost'.
