There is an analogy I think that would work oh so well in this situation.
Beware the wolves at the door.

Something to that nature.
Far too often have I seen it happen where girls are approached by a sympathetic ear in hopes to sooth their anguish, only to find that once the old wounds heal, the ear becomes a bit pushy. Becomes tired of playing second string.
The flip side to that, inside this community I've seen girls (Real ones) befriended by some other fe"male" in the community. They talk for hours about everything from boys to their days at work. When the time has come and a measure of friendship is gained they introduce them to a nice "daddy" person, or male that they just happen to know.
Convenient no? I'd say so. Coincidence? I think not.
So beware the devils in disguise dear girls.
