I looked online for a Daddy for quite some time before I met my Daddy now. I'll be moving in December to be with him and I couldn't be happier. We corresponded by e-mail and messenger for about 3-4 months, then talked on the phone for another month or so and then we met in person after that. All in all, we've known each other for a year. We are about as "normal" as they come and I think we work so well together because we don't let the lifestyle dictate our lives and we have a lot in common besides.
Far be it from me to hand out advice, but from my experience its the best to take things as s-l-o-w-l-y as possible, start out as friends and see what develops from there. I know I was guilty of expecting too much in the beginning and having it all fall through in the end.
