I recently posted a MySpace lookup about my diaper interests and got a bunch of responses from interested fellows. Unfortunately, almost all of them seemed to show very little interest in who I am as a person. They only wanted to know me as pertains to my fetish, or in terms of "what can YOU do to help ME get off better?" Despite the fact that my profile clearly states I don't use diapers in any way, I got countless "Hope this finds you wet!" and "Can I change your wet diapers?" messages. Talk about a lack of respect - the jerks didn't even read my profile first!
There's only ONE man I'm interested in really communicating with further. And he's not even into this fetish. He just saw my profile and was wondering what this diaper thing is all about - and thought I seemed nice enough that I would give him a straight answer. We've talked beyond that and I already know he's someone I'll keep in touch with for a long time.
So why do I like the non-DL guy better than all the other guys who SHARE this fetish with me? Simple. Because he treated me like a person and not like a diaper lover.
After all, I'm a person who happens to like diapers occasionally... not a diaper lover who happens to be a person occasionally.
