I've always wondered about that, too... And some of the ones who DO give more details about who they are and what they're looking for in an LG sound like they're filling out an order for some kind of robotic SuperLG or something.
It seems like in most ads, you either get:
"Hey. I need an LG."
Or:
"I'm located here. I'm looking for an LG of this height, that weight, this color, these proportions, likes purple, can't make it through level 5-4 of Super Mario Brothers, knows how to yodel, and can easily be folded up and stored under my bed."
I'd actually think about answering an ad if it managed to walk that fine line between the two :P
