I've known a few men for whom this was a problem; they feared being 'reduced' or emasculated in the eyes of their female partners. Because as we know, men don't cry, have no feelings, no need to be nurtured, in fact, no need for anything except food and a good fuck. *eyeroll* Sadly, yet another example of gender binaries being destructive to both sides.
