Well, I know there are some people who were abused as children and thus do not wish to engage in any physical punishments. And for those folks a D/s lifestyle is perferred. This power exchange is based more on mind control than on any physical punishments. For myself, I do not engage much in D/s and enjoy spanking as the main form of punishment. However, there are those who find much enjoyment and do not have any need for spankings. As they say, your mileage my vary! I would not enjoy being a Daddy if I could never say, "Young lady, you bring me the hairbrush now!"
