I do get sent to my room - sometimes it's after having my bottom smacked, sometimes before being given a spanking and other times just as time out to think about my behaviour. Do I enjoy it? Well, no, because it’s punishment. Does it help to reinforce my LG status? Absolutely - so reflecting on it afterwards can be almost pleasant.
Sometimes daddy will simply point upstairs to my room and send me there. Other times he will place me in my room himself. And if there’s resistance from me on the way upstairs he often has to apply an ‘encouraging’ firm hand to my bottom or legs.
For us it is an effective form of punishment if used at the right time and in conjunction with other forms of discipline. I think its effectiveness, for me, is due to the fact that it is a very ’childish’ method of discipline and not one that really crosses over into the adult world.
How about you Bethan – is it one that your Daddy uses? I think you’ve mentioned previously that he’s not that strict, (certainly less so than mine!) :-)
