To throw my hat into the ring so to speak. I am a masochists of sorts. I love to be flogged, and spanked. Yes, spanking can be a punishment for me. With out warm ups, however it can be very pleasurable with warm ups.
It's truly sad that you've not had a positive experince with a sadist, and therefore have understanably mistaken what it is to be a sadist.
Pain is NOT a bad thing. It lets us know we are alive, and informs us of injury, it can also be very pleasing if done correctly.
