Hi Leigh... That is a very good question....one I find asking myself from time to time. I find that when I am deeply in LG/BG mode... It is harder to snap out and cope with an adult issue. My little girl gets frustrated because babies should not have to deal with adult issues. Yet, the reality is...we all lead adult lives as well... and when the times arise that we must handle something .... I think the best way is to be careful and deal with adult problems with the adult part of our psyche. We want to make sure we keep our adult lives on track, so there is more space to be .... little girls. I don't know if your boyfriend is also your Daddy... Daddies can be VERY instrumental in helping to rationalize with those adult life thingies.
