i wouldn't be strapped into a stroller in public either,but the big 3 wheel strollers are pretty big! a crib would be nice, i tried a travel one but its not the same as having bars around you. interesting that you prefer sippy cups,i also like them but the ultimate baby thing is a bottle, its what we grow out of first. i am in australia, where are you guys from?
