It wasn't meant as an insult. It really does go a long way in making a good first impression to be mindful of mechanics. It's not about you personally. I probably would have much more success in the dating realm if I wore make up but I don't because I figure the kind of guy I'd want to like me is one who sees beauty beneath the surface. I should have couched my response more specifically in that my reaction was paricular to me. lo siento
