Once in awhile. I think it would be difficult to do every night. Some nights I'd like to sleep with my boyfriend. I've never seen a crib that has a soft mattress - like a pillow top. The reason it would be ok is that I like to sleep wrapped up in my comforter. A crib offers the protection of the bars around a small space.
