I like girls in cloth and disposable nappies. However Bethan doesn’t like cloth nappies as she finds them uncomfortable. She calls them old-fashioned nappies for people who lived in the olden days. I get to put them on her sometimes during the day, but only in the winter. It’s too hot for cloth nappies and plastic pants in the Australian summer. I have tried her in them at night time but she ends up taking them off and we end up with a wet bed.
She will wear plastic pants over a disposable. She likes the pictures on them.
I have recently bought her some Dry-nites from the supermarket. They fit her ok and she wears them when she wants to try and be a big girl. She loves running round the house with just a t-shirt and a dry-night. I think the sizes are different from those in the USA. We can only get them in a size that fits 8-15 year olds (up to 54kg). They come in a purple packet and they call them pyjama pants. They have butterflies on them. Are these the same in the states? Can you get bigger sizes? If so we would love to get our hands on some. We would exchange it for some Wet Set magazines and story books!!!!
As for disposable nappies, we use brands called Depend and Tena. Bethan likes the feel and sound of disposable nappies.
