"Fetish" is just a name, a word.
What matters most is that you're able to relax and be yourself. I've been married a long time to a woman who doesn't share my fetish for wearing plastic. She's come to understand that it's a comfort thing for me as much as it is sexual, but she's still not interested at all herself. And she's never going to be either.
You posted earlier about your bf and how he's not into your lg thing at all. Realistically, he's not going to start being into it any more than you're going to stop being into it. If he really loves you - and it sounds from your posts like he does - he and you can perhaps work out a lifestyle in which he indulges you to some extent, and that may work for both of you. But that would be it.
