The other night I was having one of those very intimate conversations with my boyfriend and the topic was about sex and bedroom fun. Somewhere along the way the conversation turned to all the different ways to be kinky (we just started listing any and all kinds) and he said that kinkyness is fine so long as it isn't (and doesn't develop into) a fetish.
That got me thinking about D/Lg relationships. Do you all feel that this is a fetish or a true lifestyle? What exactly is a fetish, and why is it bad/wrong to have one?
Personally, I think Lg is a state of mind - a true lifestyle. It's a characteristic trait one develops early in life and then just decides to never grow up. It's not Peter Pan syndrome, but it's also not something that can be turned on and off as easily as a light switch.
