Everyone has to earn a living somehow, but don't you have any dreams or ambitions? did you sit in highschool saying "I want to work at a gas station!" No. You probably had bigger dreams, and something got in the way, money problems, too much partying, depression, tragedies, drugs, etc"
Why didn't you get back on the horse?
My point is: if your going to be someones daddy they are going to have to respect you.....if it's a kid it doesn't matter you can be anyone and your smarter because your an adult. But if it's another adult, attitude will only get you so far. Adult-to-adult thats different, thats just love. But if you want a parent-child dynamic, your going to have to find a way to earn their respect so they can feel like a little girl, instead of thinking "damn I'm smarter than this dope"
if your working through college or doing something progressive thats another thing, but if your just sitting there, with no dreams, no goals, and expecting others to come running to you to make their dreams come true....thats scarry.
