Hi Angie and Jen, welcome to this board :)
Jana is a name from the past, she did indeed get in touch with many people at various different levels, myself included, I sill have her emails I think, we emailed each other and talked online through messengers for a few months from may onwards in 2003, Our relationship was nowhere as deep as yours and I am sorry that you still to this day feel hurt and abandoned.
The loss is a tough thing to deal with , I fully understand - I have had long time long distances with AB girls end abruptly with no reason or contact and the way I coped with that is to say that as a carer I was there for them when they needed it and now they have moved on ( hopefully to better things :) ) I always take comfort that the time we spent together was meaningful to us both and always will be.
I remember your request for information on Jana on wetset and no one being able to help. Maybe this board will be more helpful as many carers come here.
