I am against calling what we do a fetish. I am aware that the dictionary says a fetish is "An abnormally obsessive preoccupation or attachment; a fixation." but to me that is not what I have. I have an admiration, respect and enjoyment for diapers.
When I hear the word Fetish I think of truly fetish things like S&M and other things like that, I don't consider wearing a diaper a fetish. The word Fetish in “society” is also an ugly phrase and I somewhat agree with it. To me the word fetish is a word people use on something they either don’t understand or have no willingness to understand.
For me wearing a diaper is a Lifestyle choice, something I choose to do because it brings me enjoyment, excitement, feelings, peace and most of all makes me happy.
I am not sure anyone else agrees with me, but I wish that the DL/AB community could come up with a better phrase for our love of diapers then calling it a fetish.
