Its just the same as every relationship in the world. You can't expect perfection right off the bat. Some people date hundreds of people before they get married, and some people only a few. Some people never get married, or get married a few times.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but thats life. Nothing is for certain, and anyone who has ever wanted a partner, vanilla or kink, needs to accept that. Good luck in your search.
