Great question. I think I'm in the minority here, because my slave and I *love* humiliation, punishment and discipline, but she doesn't age regress. In fact, we never play with age regression, infantilism or adult baby play. Those are cool types of play -- they just aren't for us.
Nevertheless, I am her Daddy, and she'll always be a little girl to me, so we do enjoy an overt expression of Daddy/LG. I see my slave as an adult girl who needs the attention and structure, only I can give her. Often that involves punishing her. I use many classic BDSM tools such as: spanking, caning, flogging, bondage, sexual servitude, foot worship, gags -- as well as classic ABDL tools such as: diaper punishment, pacifiers, forced feeding, early bedtime punishment, writing punishment lines, corner time, and other humiliations -- to keep her in line when she's disobedient.
In our dynamic, my slave wouldn't be punished for wetting her pants per se, since she would never do so. Rather, I do punish her if she fails to complete her chores around the house, or if she answers back to me. she's an adult, but treating her condescendingly represents a tool of breaking her. And how I enjoy that!
I don't know what you mean about "shyness" but I'm sure some of the other respondents will fill in the blanks for me. Great question though! I'm enjoying the others' answers.
