Think a big part of it has to do with feeling safe and loved by "Daddy", but want to be able to have fun, and to know that the control that's been willingly given to Daddy isn't going to be abused. In short, just want to be loved, fussed over, to be looked after and to have fun, (or be corrected if necessary!)
If Daddy seemed angry all the time or if you became so completely dominated and controlled that you began to lose your identity or became unhappy, then it defeats the object.
I Like the idea that I have adult time with Daddy too, but really most of all that I can trust someone enough to invite them into my headspace and share this world with them, without feeling ashamed or embarrassed or feel like I have to justify my sanity.
