That sounds so cute. I too have lots of skorts and shorts. I wear shorts most of the time, unless it is getting cold, then back to jeans and overalls, of course loose fitting, lol!
I found the "mini/shorts" combos at Ross, Fashion Bug, and Mervyns. They do come in plaid. I bought some in also in pink and some in a flowery print.
I also have some plaid walk style shorts.
I have also bought vinyl mini-skirts with matching hot-pants, I have black, red and white, so far. They don't crinkle much unless you sit down on vinyl or leather upholstery. They do cover your plastic padded bum pretty good! I actually have worn my diapers and matching plastic pants in those colors!!!!!
I like to rub or pat my butt once in awhile, just to hear the crackle underneath!
You should look into some saddle shoes, try Bass Shoes outlets. I do have a 2 tone brown pair that my b/f made me put little Christmas bells on the laces, so I jingle as I walk, an attention getter!
