Remember Venn diagrams in math at school? You can have any number of circles and where they overlap is where the group have something in common? Well you could draw one for relationships and it will be individual for every couple, however, a number of couples have overlap between BDSM and Age Play - spankings, control games, humiliation and punishment are all part of this. The fact that they are so common in Age Play stories can hardly be a coincidence. If you are in the "just age play" circle of the diagram that's fine, but just be tolerant of those who are in the overlap portion and those who are in the "just BDSM" part who might want to visit the board from time to time.
