V. thought provoking post. For me an Uncle seems too removed, although he loves you, he's not actually your daddy. Maybe if my caretaker was nearer to my age I might view him as a big brother. However, I just love being daddy's little girl and I just love the fact that my daddy is somewhat older than me so he's a bit of an old stick-in-the-mud even when we're not playing.Because he's daddy I know he knows what is best for me, even if it's a lot of discipline, an early night or no ice cream that afternoon.
