Being serious for a moment here, I agree with the Daddys-girl policy prohibiting participation by those under 18. As Anais so wisely pointed out, age of consent is not a universal yardstick (for instance, under the NYS Penal Law, 17 is the age of consent, not 18) however, one has to draw a line in the sand *somewhere* and 18 seems to be a commonly-accepted Western threshhold for the transition into adulthood. In short, I'm comfortable with that benchmark.
And I'm a very staunch opponent of unsolicited (meaning the parent is unaware) adult-minor interactions, and particularly in the diaper fetish world since I hang my hat here. There is simply too many predators and too much underage material floating around the net, and in diaper forums, to trust that any adult should intentionally and knowingly speak to a unknown minor other than in the case of dire emergency.
Frankly, I look at the issue from the parent's point of view. Would any parent be okay with a stranger approaching their child and speaking with him/her -- without first knowing, who that person is, what their intent is, and why they are choosing to speak with *that particular* minor? I can't imagine any reasonable parent being okay with that, which is why I don't believe adults should intentionally and knowingly speak with minors on the Net without the full and specific knowledge and consent of the minor's parent(s) or guardian(s).
Which is also why I hestitate to joke about it. I understand your levity Mbob, because this Mat's posts have gotten out of hand, but I want to be clear that even though I don't support Mat's methods or his likely intent to publicly humiliate babygirl, I do support a complete divorce between adults and minors in the diaper fetish world.
