Hi there,
My advice would be to yes meet this daddy, but first and for most do it in a public place with plenty of people around, get to know him a lot better! As he's willing to come to you, just make him understand that you're only happy to meet up with him and get to know him a bit more!
I also get the same warnings from my mum, when I say I'm going to meet someone that I've chatted to on the net, but I then explain to her that one I haven't given out my home address or phone no. and two we've arranged to meet in a public place, this puts her at ease.
