A daddy is a hard role for anyone to fulfill. Unlike a friendship, where you may have different things you might agree or disagree on yet still manage to find common ground, a daddy/baby relationship is much more complex. A good daddy has to be there always....even after the initial excitement wears off. He has to be aware of his BabyGirl's needs and he has to remember that someone is depending on him to always be at his best for her. This may sound one sided but in reality it isn't. What a babygirl gives HIM is her total trust - the right to take care of her most personal needs - the hugs and affection that only a Big BabyGirl can provide - and her loyalty. I think there are dads out there who feel the same way that I do. All I can suggest to anyone is to keep trying- I'm sure there is a daddy looking for you too!
