I agree. Some define BDSM as power exchange, so in that sense, ageplay is a subset. I know some old guard SM'ers who detest this broad definition, and prefer to think of BDSM as two sides of the triskelion -- BD and SM -- sans the third side, DS. Under this definition, not all ageplay could be characterized as BDSM.
