L.E.,

But you assume that every diaperist wants to interact on every forum -- as though they aren't at all discriminant in their tastes. A forum's distinctive character comes from its theme. Our theme here is DLG, and overwhelmingly the majority here respect that theme. I do see a scant few ISO ads from AB men for mommies, but they are overshadowed by the number of ISO's for DLG. Point -- our board has its distictive character *without* the need for female exclusivity. Furthermore, the administrators of this board have made no provision favoring female interaction over male. Were those the rules, I would honor them.
But in the world of kink, equal opportunity trumps distinct character. It also trumps affirmative action for disadvantaged voices. However, if the moderators here should decide to unbalance the scales to help women come out, then I will honor that. But until that decision is made, equal opportunity still reigns supremely.
As for Vassar -- your analogy is both anachronistic and flawed. What you neglect to mention L.E. is that the formerly all-women's college was chartered in 1861 because, at that time, most other such colleges, including Harvard, were exclusively male. Vassar was created to give women opportunities seldom found elsewhere.
But today's diaper kink messageboards are not at all akin to the above. Women on these boards have as much opportunity as do the men. The Web itself governs this. Most diaper kink forums welcome women as they do men, and women may post as often as they like. That is equal opportunity.
That a greater number of men interact in the diaper kink world (not exist) does not itself disadvantage women nor does it preclude them from speaking out. Nothing, but their own sense of being overwhelmed prevents that, but they are the ones who own responsibility for feeling as such.
