Yes! Now you're getting it. I'm saying that this forum offers equal opportunity for all who *choose* to take it. Those who do not choose, have few such advantages.

Incorrect. The rules are dictated by the forum itself. Here, on DLG, anyone can post as often as s/he likes. That means the primary rule here is equal opportunity. Prolific posters make no such rules; they obey the same rules of opportunity as everyone else.
In sum, shy folks here have every equal opportunity to speak. We may properly encourage them to interact, but we cannot do so by asking others to stifle themselves towards this end. Asking men to "hang back" on conversations here is like asking men not to apply to Harvard MBA until the women have applied because total enrollment favors men.
