I am very happy this morning - having arrived home from my last trip a day early, yesterday, I will enjoy 72 hours alone with my sweetie, who was so excited that she wet herself as we kissed at the doorstep. I had to change her before I even unpacked - what's a hands-on Daddy to do? :)
She is still asleep, quite adorable in her Hello Kitty nightie, one arm holding her Pooh. The tip of her thumb is close to her lips - she sucks her thumb as she drifts off to sleep. In a moment, I will change her cloth diaper, which I often do without disturbing her sleep.
Today, we have plans to visit a zoo. She will wear a youthful dress, and she is eager to have an "accident" in her cotton Barbie briefs, although she is unsure whether she is brave enough to do it in public, with people watching, or only in a quiet place, for Daddy's eyes alone.
Either way, I will change her in a family rest room, and she will spend the rest of the day in a crinkly, rustling disposable, which should keep her lovely cheeks flushed rosy with embarrassment.
Some days, life is so sweet.
