A few weeks ago, I posted asking for help locating a friend of my LG, who had disappeared some months earlier. She has been found, and she is safely among friends.
Several of you sent me e-mails in response. While they did not lead us to Tessie, your intentions were greatly appreciated.
There is an important cautionary lesson here, however; exercise great discretion in who you grant access into your personal life - particularly individuals you've met on-line.
(Tessie met a sweet-talking man who claimed to be a Daddy but who was actually just a violent sadist - she was forced to flee)
1. Proceed slowly. Patience in these matters is indeed a virtue. Resist any pressure to rush.
2. Reveal few details until you have established a substantial degree of trust.
3. Insist on ID verification, in advance, if you decide to take steps to meet - you should establish that they are who they claim to be, by address, phone number, etc. (not always easy)
4. Don't meet face-to-face until your comfort level is high, and take along a friend or meet first in an ordinary, public place.
5. If anything feels suspicious or uncomfortable, back off or leave immediately, and don't agree to be alone with them until the issue is addressed and resolved.
There are many ways to meet partners, of course, that are the same whether you are seeking one with a specific interest, such as Daddy/LG interactions, or more "mainstream" or "vanilla" connections. Clubs, parties, church (yes indeed) are but a few possibilities. These can often allow us to gain familiarity, establish background, and develop an emotional and physical rapport, over time, if our initial contact lights a fire, as part of a natural process.
It is much more difficult to accomplish this with what is essentially a blind date, when carrying on an on-line romance that you take to the real-world stage. These connections do occur all the time, without any danger. So, do not be afraid to make contacts and pursue your own Daddy but please, all of you beautiful, little sweeties - ALWAYS BE SAFE!!!
