Great point L.E.! For instance, my slave does not age regress in our dynamic whatsoever; she always thinks of herself as her chronological age. However, I use diapers to punish her for those times when she's behaving like a toddler, hence punishment is the explanation (as you put it) for using diapers. For us, diapers are an erotic means to an end: corrective discipline. (I think this may concomitantly answer MBob's question)
Now I'll expand on that thought and I hope others here will respond with theirs.
Alternately, we can infer then that diapers require no "explanation" when an adult regresses to babyhood (a rough contrapositive of your above statement L.E.) perhaps because diapers are essential to adult baby play, but as such, are not a means to an end (save perhaps to keep the carpet dry). One could further infer then that, for ABies, diapers are incidental to the regression itself.
Not fact, but simply a thought. Anyone here care to lend their perspectives?
