Thanks, I'm quite an insomniac, and half the time when I write things, they're brilliantly crystal or shattered quartz.
In truth, I understand your concept that the ideals of D/s are indeed based upon those participating. I agree that what's good for the goose isn't good for the gander.
*shrug* I guess I still have alot of room to grow/understand on that concept.
The BDSM culture is indeed one that needs an overhaul in terminology as well as various aspects of Ageplay and AB/DL. Not so much an actual terminology change, but more based on public information. True, CSI's Infantilism episode did put the style of play onto the map, and did potray it as harmless, they put it into a negative light, which honestly hurt all the good they did.
I'm not so much of an infantilist, sort of a diaper lover, much more of a gentle dom/daddy figure, and in truth it's all about how you approach what you want. I remember reading that alot of Master/D-Slave/s relationships required contracts of some sort outlying what was acceptable and what wasn't, which was quite smart, written plainly and clearly for each party involved. As long as the both followed the guidelines, it was quite acceptable. I find that quite interesting in its own right, and needed on some circumstances, but good communication and understanding of the roles are key.
