First, I'm glad you found us. We all have gone through the stage of wondering if we're alone in this desire, and are joyful to find that there are quite many people out there that share this interest.
Right now is a good time for you to start looking around and getting ideas. Stuff that grabs your attention, maybe makes your heart race faster, as well as things that you would rather avoid.
For example some women want to be a "Little Girl" (LG) all the time, while others save it for select private time (like taking a break from the adult world and slipping into childhood for a while).
Smaller interests too, like sucking on thumb/pacifier/bottle and types of diapers; disposable, cloth, pull-on, etc.
You might want to figure out the relative age of your little side. It doesn't have to be a specific number, most women I've talked with say they're around 4-6 years old. Your "little" age isn't set in stone, you can change it and mold it to best fit you. The age is mostly to help Daddies and other Little Girls get a quick idea of what you may like.
Think of what you are looking for. Private comfort? Playmates? A "Daddy"?
If you do want a "Daddy", then fantasize about what you would like him to do. Come up with some specifics as that will help you later find the right Daddy for you.
This seems like a lot at first so don't feel like you have to rush in and know the answers. Just as you said, take it slow at your own pace. There is much to discover, and it is pretty fun.
And don't rush to the first Daddy that comes along. Chat around, find people that are comfortable that you can talk openly with.
Many people will happily offer advice and suggestions on this board.
