Though I have no great experience approaching Daddy types who don't share our diaper fetish, here are some thoughts that you may wish to consider.
Overtures towards accidents might give you some idea about his feelings without having to go so far as to force something wet on him. You may simply suggest that you need a potty or you may have an accident, and do so a few times, just to gauge his reaction. If he responds sexually or in any way spare that of obvious disgust, it might do to stage an accident. I might do to tell him what a big baby you feel like, and to lead him with questions as to how once might deal with babies who can't be trusted to use the potty.
Alternately, it might be more fair of you to bare your heart and mention that wearing something other than panties would intensify the feelings of protection and dependance that being Daddy's girl gives you and he. You might simply suggest that you'd feel even more protected if your Daddy would diaper you, and simply make it a silly little request that he might likely fulfil. Naturally, it would be up to you to work in any wetting/messing you wanted to do, and important to have an idea as to his feelings about such things before they happened.
