I've come to conclusion that "diaper training" (i.e. inducing incontinence in a willing partner) is something that must only be undertaken with the least pressure possible. As a would-be diaper trainer, I think that many of the issues (i.e. the trainer running off for an adult, baby's disenchantment with diapers, etc) can be alleviated by seeking only those without the slightest bit of reluctance about diapers to train. This clearly narrows the pool a bit, but I can't help but worry that any partner I ever suggested diaper training to would feel coerced into taking a step that can have significant psychological and lifestyle impacts. In the right circumstances, diaper training coudl (I think) be an extremely beautiful thing; I guess I'm just refining my ideas of the right circumstances for it.
Sorry if this is a bit from left field, but it just occurred, and I clearly lack that ability to restrain comment. ;)
regards,
A.
