I do agree that there has to be communication. Obviously if she doesn't like something, or if the daddy doesn't like something, it needs to be expressed or there will be problems later. Communication is big in ANY relationship, not just a daddy/daughter. No relationship would be successful without it, especially relationships involving roles. However, if you are ALWAYS asking the little girl how to act, how to respond, how to do anything/everything, in my eyes, that doesn't show much leadership or decisiveness, and maybe that's what the other person was talking about. You do need to know what kind of person she is obviously, that should have been a given without saying. I guess people need to be more literal around here. Some girls would like to stay in the role 24/7, some would like to do it sometimes, some would want to wear diapers all the time, some only some of the time. A daddy needs to know what she wants to be, and a girl needs to know what he wants.
