Edification and fulfillment can manifest variously in the flesh, in a comfort in numbers, and in the quiet reassurance discovered through newfound friendship with a kindred soul.
This board has provided a forum, a refuge, and a sense of community, as well as a means to seek sexual partners. One function is not more important than all others. Many of the "regulars," including a number of the men, are currently engaged in Daddy/LG romances, yet they return again, and again to chat and reconnect with their friends.
You are right, L.E., ultimate fulfillment, for most of us, does require sharing a beautiful, mutually rewarding LTR with a real world lover we can embrace and comfort. Still, there are few relatively hospitable places for individuals with our predilections to search for such consummation amid a virtual community of similar-minded kin. This site provides the access and the social network, and for many, I believe, perhaps most significantly for the women, the "community" aspects are as valuable and rewarding as the potential for finding a mate.
