The risk of losing her is certainly a fair point, but it might be worth mentioning that the only talk of love in his message was in reference to her and diapers. That aside, I can't help but imagine that there might yet be some hope.
I would suggest that you make an honest appeal to her on how important finding gratification of your fetish with a romantic partner is to you. To make things equitable, I would suggest that you offer some favor (sexual or otherwise) in "trade" for her diaper wearing. Offer her oral sex, cuddling, or any other sexual favor that she desires and that you don't often do for her. If you have a hard time coming up with something like that, be creative in offering things (a nice dinner and a bottle of wine can sometime go a long way towards convincing a partner to indulge you).
Naturally, if your relationship is not (yet?) sexual, I would consider putting the breaks on getting her into diapers. Asking someone to do something that most people might consider fairly kinky is something that I've found is best left to relationships in which you're either already sexually intimate (in the vanilla sense) or already in some kind of kinky roles (i.e. ageplay or some kind of power exchange role-play).
