Yes, I noticed it also. It's so subtle in some postings. It's as if the AB term connotes something dirty or perverse. Even though all the activities and relationships they've portrayed all descibe your typical AB, they refuse the name??
My guess is that those few extremely distasteful examples that make it into the media have confused some about what an AB is. I wish I could introduce them to the many highly respectable AB's that I've met over the years. They might then be very proud of the name AB and disavow this "LG"
You know, it might be that the women want to believe that it's somehow different when they play in diapers. Women often are very particular about distancing themselves from base instincts. Maybe they don't want to believe that the forces and instincts that drive the largly male AB group* are the same instincts that grip them?!?
*no way to know what the real ratio of m/f AB's really is - but seems that men are more willing to speak on message boards and attend gatherings.
