I LOVE all the deep passionate discussions that're going on here lately! This is exactly the kind of community I've been craving. (and I've had more time lately - someone let me know if I'm being obnoxious posting too much! *blush*)

But at the same time, it's fun to get to just be a Little Girl here too and concentrate on FUN stuff!

So....What are everyone's favorite songs that remind them of LG stuff? (and email me if anyone wants to trade MP3's!!)

Here's some of my favorites:

Lullabies - obviously hehe. Especially "All the pretty little horses". I used to have a tape of lullabies from around the world a long time ago but I lost it and can't remember exactly what it was called now :-( Now I especially love Paul Robeson - his deep voice makes my knees go weak!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail - I LOVE to bounce around and dance to this one!

Alison Krause - "Baby Mine" the words to this song are so comforting and perfect to me. I looked it up and I guess it's actually a Disney song (though I usually don't like Disney) from Dumbo, but I especially love the way she sings it.

Arcangelo Corelli - classical Itialian boroque composer, composed a lot for strings. His music is very relaxing.

Tori Amos - "Winter" (and "Leather" but that's not for LG reasons - once a girl slowly crawled across the floor to me singing this *shiver*)

Sweet Honey in the Rock - "Still the Same Me" I love a lot of their songs for different reasons, but this one brings out the LG in me the most.

John McCutcheon -especially
"Featherbed"- reminds me of a time that was so romantically innocent, and make my heart ache for that.
And "Mud" Just plain little-kid FUN!

Of course I can think of lots of other songs I love, for LG and other reasons, but I'd say that's probably my top list.
