Hi, I'm partly using this topic as a way to re introduce myself in a way. I've occaisionally posted on other wetset boards, before this one came to life. But also because I really care about the topic.
Before i got into the internet, (I'm now 26), i really felt like these feelings were totally mine alone. I spent enough time thinking about the aspects of wetting by myself to realise that where I was really heading, was to imagine an (older) (male) person who would be there to reassure me when I wetted, tell me everything was aright, but also kind of to quite enjoy the fact I wetted. I can see that this was partly about me trying to reconcile my ambivalence about wetting, that on the one hand I enjoyed it and thought about it terms of safety, security and luxury; but on the other hand I felt quite deeply ashamed about it, about the fact I enjoyed (and sexually enjoyed) something that was manifestly so inappropriate and about being vulnerable, which i guess I also had issues with.
I also think this board is lovely, some really sweet and sincere people on it. And MyMelody, I totally agree with the whole support group mentality thing! Maybe there's something about LG's that are attracted to, or want to recreate a perfect extended family - spose everyone does tho. Xx.
