Hmmm....I think I'm definately an LG. Usually I am about two or three, but never older than four. I LOVE my baby doll, and have more toys than most of the real little kids in the neighborhood. I only get light spankings for being naughty, but usually I have to sit very still and discuss my "poor choices" with my boyfriend. Diapers are worn at bedtime on occasion after I've had an accident. With an AB there is no debate. As an LG though, when he suggests that I wear one, I still get some say. If I really don't want to wear one then going potty before bedtime is my alternative. I've tried the AB side of life, and found it's too difficult for either me or my 'daddy' because it does not allow for any real conversation. It's lonely knowing that the only communication "acceptable" are a series of babbles and cries. As for bedtime, it's nice not being confined to a crib where I'm helpless to get cleaned up after a diaper leaks. To tell him what I want for breakfast is nice. As a LG when I get read a story book I get to guess what's going to happen next, AND I get to turn the pages :). It's nice being able to eat 'big kid' food - macaroni, chicken, etc. With AB's the menu selection is very liquidy, sometimes to the point where no amount of gnawing on a teething ring can make up for it. One of the most fun parts of being an LG is the amount of variation. I can be naughty and hide his PDA,or take his car keys so he can't go anywhere. While he may be in charge, it makes me feel empowered. An AB can't really be mischevious - there are limits to the role (esp. where crawling is concerned). It's also nice to be able to run to him when I feel overwhelmed. I can explain my fears in a way that he can understand and give me useful guidence. Besides, even when not in full LG mode, it's so much easier to slip it into regular adult life.
Does anyone else feel like they can to relate?
