You did overreact but not that bad. since there is distance between you two its natural to hit that point where you want to meet her. not having met her can cause all sorts of problems. I know you do not want to be kept at arms length so whats keeping you two from meeting?
If I were you I would make sure that your relationship is going somewhere. how long has this been going on for? if the goal is to meet and be in a relationship then you should be working toward that. I understand wanting to take it slow but eventually you want to meet her. the phone/online Daddy/little thing can be fun at times but it also is safe for someone who doesn't want to meet.
your reaction was natural and you shouldn't feel bad about it. just ease up a bit and hopefully in time your two will be together for real.
